PG and E Tier 2 Motor Effeciency Levels

Tier 2-Efficient Motor efficiency levels for 1-200 hp, Design A & B motors, have been approved by PG&E and were launched April 1, 2011. Tier 2-Efficient Motors are 1 NEMA Band higher in efficiency than NEMA Premium motors, approximately 0.3-1.2% more efficient. Efficiency levels have not changed for 201-500 hp. Please call for Brands and models that meet minimum qualifying efficiency levels and are eligible for Tier 2 –Efficient motor incentives. Attached is the table for the efficiecny levels.

Optibelt Power TransmissionOptibelt is pleased to announce the opening of its new logistics center in Santa Fe Springs, California on March 1st, 2010.

This modern building will make it possible for Optibelt to increase services and inventory to us with its products of:

  • V-Belts
  • Timing Belts

In stock will be wrapped and raw edge cogged US standard and metric v-belts along with a range of rubber and polyurethane timing belts.

The timing belts will be stocked in sleeves and the center has the capability to slit to width to fit a wide range of customer specific applications.
